I turned 46 on Christmas Day 2022 and am the proud mum of 2 beautiful kids. I started my odyssey to wellbeing when I was very young, probably around 7 or 8, without even realising it. Trying to slim down and achieve an ideal of fitness has been a constant factor throughout my life. In more recent years I came to truly accept that wellbeing cannot be measured solely by a number on the scales or the measurement of my waist. This was the pivotal moment in realising good health relies crucially on holistic wellbeing.

Working on your fitness with commitment and consistency relies on your ability to focus your energies on your goals. This can be difficult with the responsibilities and stresses of daily life. It's a double-edged sword. When you are unfit and unhealthy you lack confidence, feel sluggish and unhappy. When you get fitter and stronger you improve your thinking and resilience which in turn helps you deal with stress and gives you more energy to live life to the fullest.

 

I started Odyssey to Wellbeing to help others find their way through the forests of options out there and find what works for them. I feel every individual has their own odyssey to find what makes them happy, what makes them well.
